Design Wall Monday #3

I've been working away on my blocks from the mystery class I took last November (click here if you want to read about the class and project).
I have been trying to arrange the blocks so that there is no seam matching to worry about in the middle of the blocks, and also so that none of the same fabrics are touching each other. And now I seem to be missing 2 blocks! I'll have to look around (aka clean up the studio!) and find the missing pieces.
Hop over the Patchwork Times blog and start off your week feeling inspired!

You never seem to be working on the same quilt two weeks in a row. Glad you are still plowing through the old projects. Hope you don't run out anytime soon.

This is such fun! And don't you hate it when you're missing pieces? I work so hard to keep my projects all together and invariably misplace something! :)

I'm binding a quilt now that is a scrappy one and I had trouble figuring out how to make the seams meet just right. (some of them just didn't as the pressing wasn't written into the instructions) best of luck finding the missing piece. I just found my other quilting glove the other day--I knew it would turn up!

looks good. And, something might be getting finished and moved off of the UFO list.

Getting seams to line up right is like a brainteaser puzzle. You get one section right, but that messes up the section next to it.
Those missing blocks will surface--AFTER you have made replacements. At least that is the way things work at my house. : ) Hope you have better luck.

I'm still looking for the rest of my bow ties. I know they are in a Christmas Card Box that was on my Quilt Table. Hope you find them before you assemble the quilt. You could always wait and put them on the back, if you replace them and find them later. Story of a Quilter's Life- all too familiar!

oh so close !! Hope you find the missing blocks. Same thing happened to me on Sat. A 8x9 block baby quilt, turned into an 8x8 quilt. The whole row, gone - go figure, still haven't found. But the quilt it done :)

Tricky blocks, they must be hiding.
This looks like a fun mystery quilt.

Oh what a funny post. Sorry you are missing your blocks - what a pain. I sure hope by now you have found them. I just spent a good two hours looking for my quilting supplies (gloves, notebook, needles etc.) Gosh, I never thought I would have this much stuff. Well, in the meantime, this is a pretty cute quit. It deserves to be finished up. Good Luck
