Civil War Wednesday

Two more 8" sampler blocks done for my Civil War quilt.

Block #21 Underground Railroad
I know this block as "Jacob's Ladder". It is quick and easy to sew.

Block #22 Blockade

This was one of my favorite blocks so far! I liked picking the fabrics, and sewing the components, and I love the scrappy look of it.

I love your brown and blue repro combo. Every block you post is a winner.
I finally have a sew day at home today and had hoped to dig in and make at least ONE CW block. Now I wonder how much sewing I will do at all--the allergy season has reared its ugly head and I am either miserable or drugged. Today it is a combination of the two. Bummer! I'll just keep admiring your blocks. : )

The Blockade block is a real beauty--nice fabric combination. Your limited color selection is going to make a very special quilt.
