Another UFO is finished

It's a great feeling to know that a quilt is being loved and used before it's even finished!  My quilt-loving puppy is always trying to snuggle up on any project I am working on.

But I do not expect to see my Dad using a quilt before it's even finished!

And I definitely don't expect to find my son using a quilt that doesn't even have the binding sewn down! I'm going to have to buy some of those binding clips...I keep saying "watch out, there are pins in that quilt!" It's not as if there aren't many other finished quilts around here for you to use!

Now the quilt is finished and can be used without fear of being poked by pins!!

To see how UFO # 7 was switched with #9 - click here. But regardless of the UFO number, it sure feels great to put a line through a quilt on my UFO wish list (on the right) and write DONE beside it! To see other finished UFO's this month, click here to go to Patchwork Times UFO post. Next up is UFO #11... which still needs a border and quilting.

Just look at your UFO Wish List -- it's filled with "done" and lines galore. This spider web quilt is a great finish--so graphic and colorful.

What a great quilt, and great scrap buster. I especially LOVE the backing! I've wanted to make one of these for years - "one of these days when I get a roundtuit" 8-)) Thanks for inspiration. Nice to see it getting used even in its unfinished state!

It's good to have a quilt done but it's great to have a quilt loved!

That quilt is amazing, Congratulations! I'm so happy it's off your UFO list, it's a wonderful finish. What a great place to photograph your quilts, the scenery is breathtaking.

Those binding clips really do work well for quilts that keep getting used before they are totally done. I have the same trouble in my house and I feel a lot better about seeing someone wrapped up in a not quite done quilt that way. I can understand why they couldn't wait to snuggle up. It is a GREAT quilt. The purple really ties it all together and the backing fabric is perfect.

Congratulations on another UFO finish! It's a great collection of fabrics to look back at as the years go by. Who will claim it now that the binding is complete and the pins are removed?
