Design Wall Monday

One more block has been added to my Quilting Life BOM

Guess how many HST's this block needed?

If you guessed 20, you are right!

It's a fun project with one block pattern per month. I am a bit behind since this is the May block I just finished, but I'm loving the look of the 5 blocks together.

I have 3 guild friends sewing along also, and the colour of their frames are dark blue (Dana), red (Lorelei) and grey (Diane). I can't wait to see our 4 quilts together when the year is finished.

I would have never thought of using browns with neutral browns. I really like your colors. But not being a real brown fan, I probably wouldn't have enough fabrics to do these blocks from stuff in my stash. I settled on red, white and blue so I could make another veteran quilt. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the blocks in this series.

The frames really make these blocks pop, and the black is perfect for yours. Beautiful blocks.

I hadn’t seen this BOM before. I think I may have fallen in love and may have to jump in. If I do 2 blocks a month I can catch up before the end of the year.

Lovely blocks! I'm not usually a fan of brown but these blocks look really nice in these colours.

These are such sweet blocks, Kathy and love the color combination. I have been contemplating on joining in on this BOM too. Have a wonderful week. Happy quilting.
