It's the end of orange month for the rainbow scrappers. It was a real stretch for me to make this block using only my orange scraps and I purchased a couple of orange FQ's at Creativ Festival last week.
I love how they look in this Mad City Mama block (pattern by Bonnie Hunter).

So bright and bold. Orange is a great color to brighten up the rainy days of spring.
Such a happy colour.I have join in on the rainbow scraps. I have a paper pieced block and I am doing it in the monthly colours. Even went back to the beginning of the year. But I will only make one block of each colour...I am not nuts!!!
This is a great block for lots of scraps; it certainly must help to empty the scrap bin.
Love the middle! Great job using your orange... I too had to add to the orange fabrics this month.
Great block--good fussy-cut for the center. : )
Oh, I could have sent you some orange scraps. Sorry I didn't know you were in need.
What a lovely block!! Like Janet said, I could send you some orange scraps too! Just ask!! :-)
What a clever use for that bit from the Keep Calm panel! Gorgeous saturated oranges.
Wow, orange would be hard for me, too! Nice job...that is my husband's favorite color...you would think I would have more of it!
What a beautiful and bright block. And the middle fabric is awesome.
Nice oranges! They always look so great, I wonder why I don't use them more? Nice, happy block!
What a cool block! So many pieces! I'm a fat quarter person, too. My stash is very scrappy.
Wow, those are some gorgeous oranges! (I never saw an orange FQ that I didn't like...)
I'm really looking forward to your Mad City Mama quilt.
Love your orange fabrics and the message. Have fun with you projects this week!

Glad you found enough orange to make your block.
Would you like some of my orange scraps? I know you mentioned earlier that you don't like your greys-- we could do a little swap of oranges for greys! =)
I'm working on this crazy paper pieced diamond log cabin. It uses very tiny scraps (1" wide). http://kristingumdrop.blogspot.com/2016/03/eternal-paper-piecing-projects.html
Let me know! =)
