Slow Sunday Stitching
I have great slow stitching news to share today - I have finished the hand quilting on my "Always Home" wallhanging! I only had the straight line quilting left to finish on the bottom border, and now it's done and done.
The binding was ready to apply, and today I will have the great enjoyment of hand stitching it to the back of the quilt. I also have the hanging sleeve and the label ready to stitch down - very efficient if I do say so myself!
What are you stitching today? Link up your blog post below and share your hand stitching project with us.

Wonderful accomplishment! I'm working on an autograph quilt for my sister and embroidering some Gail Pan pincushions. No pics, tho'. Have a great day!
That is so pretty. Relax and enjoy the binding work on her today!
Great news...congrats and enjoy! It's such a lovely project.
Wonderful quilt finish Kathy! Enjoy your binding ... then you can wash it up and see it wrinkle as it dries!!! Love that :) Thanks for the linky! Kathi
Great finish. I've an itching to do some hand quilting again. Need to find the right quilt first though

Woohoo! I love sewing on the binding and think I might be a wee bit jealous of your stitching today! I'm working on some big stitch today :)
What a fun finish--such a cute quilt!
Yay for a finish! I certainly intend to try to get in some hand stitching today too.
Congratulations! I love hand stitching the binding at the end of a quilt, too. Your wall hanging is lovely!
Beautiful finish Kathy! I love that feeling of a quilt job well done :)
Always Home is beautiful. I always great to be done!
A great finish. It has got to feel good to be so efficient and organized! *LOL*
I love those houses! I am working on binding - or I will be when the shade returns to the deck
Congrats on your finish. I'll be stitching the same project as last time, so, no new post about it. I've been cutting and machine sewing, so, it's time for something slow and relaxing. Hopefully I'll also finish thread basting my Churn Dash top, so that I can start machine quilting it. Thread basting is also slow stitching, at least it is for me.
This message may be published twice...but I just want you to know I love your wall hanging!! It is gorgeous!!
Almost there! I've enjoyed watching your progress, Kathy. Link it to WIPs Be Gone - we love to see progress and finishes. Lovely quilt.
Finishing this project justifies starting the quilt vortex with me...
I love this one! Do you have a spot to hang it up after all of that hand stitching?
This is such a sweet little piece and congrats on the final stitches.
Always Home looks great. I hope you enjoyed your stitching.
Vai ficar muito lindo esse painel, esse domingo eu comecei uma nova bolsa, mas não postei no blog senão participaria do painel de hoje...
Abraços do Brasil
Congrats on the finish!
