Happy Scrappy Valentine's Day!

The February colour for the Rainbow Scrap quilters is pink. I have been using little pink Alamo Stars as my leader/ender pieces for this month's sewing, and this is my progress so far...

4 alamo star blocks using pink as either the star or the background.

Cute as a button!

It might not look like much, but what it means as a leader/ender project is 16 seams per block times 4 blocks = 64 seams sewn!

  1. Cute little stars Kathy! What size are these? The original 6" or have you made them smaller.

  14. I like these blocks more every time I see them. The Twinkle Star blocks I'm making this year have the same base units. It is a lot of seams per block, they don't go fast!

  15. Look like much to me. Those little blocks are labor intensive. But so worth it!
