D4P blocks

My Disappearing 4 Patch blocks are finally sewn together. It's a fun block to play with and uses up charm squares - the tutorial is here
I decided I didn't have enough of any of my potential border fabrics (that I showed in this post and this one) so I need to go shopping to get more. The quilt top needs at least one border to bring it up to a larger lap size.
I already have the backing, so I'll be ready to finish this quilt soon!
It's so rewarding to see a project move closer to the quilting/finishing pile!

Wonderful, I sometimes find that a couple of borders with varying sizes can finish off quilts like this wonderfully

The block may look a bit complicated but it is such a simple block to sew and it stitches up into such a pretty quilt.

Congrats on moving this one closer to the finish!

Oh too bad the printed border fabric was not sufficient in quantity, it works so well. Good luck finding something to use as a border..Happy Shopping!!!

Thanks for helping me decide what to do with two charm packs of Avignon by American Jane. I have a few yards from the same line that has been stowed away for several years. Your D4P will be perfect!
