Startitis

Yep...my raging case of "Startitis" has flared up again.
*I convince myself it's just a wee project to fit in between everything else that I am working on.
From Quiltville
*Plus, it will just be a quick little project like my Pumpkin Seeds quilt.
*And besides that, I can give it away for a Christmas gift.
*Plus it doesn't take much fabric, so it is basically a FREE project from your stash!
Have I convinced you yet?!?
What are you waiting for?!?! Hop over to Temecula Quilts and get the fabric requirements and cutting instructions for the "Countdown to Christmas" Sew Along!
Sewing starts tomorrow.
I'm starting with these reds from the "Mama Said Sew" fabric line. Will I be all cut out and ready to sew? Or will I actually work on the 2 wedding quilts I need to finish, or the 2 quilts I have agreed to machine quilt for my friend, or the UFO that I have not even worked on this month, or the Swoon blocks that I have imperfectly sewn?!?!?  Hmmm...

You seem to have hit the point where I would need to write a list - and then compare it to the calendar with any deadlines marked in pen (not pencil!).....! Good luck with all your projects!

I must not, I must not...... Hmmmm. Maybe just maybe I can sew a little bit tomorrow on this if I can get some things cut out. =) You are a very bad influence on me Kathy!

Oh lady, why did you post this? And better, why did I read this? And, I wanna do it too and I haven't even looked at it yet! Maybe a quick peek and I won't like it. Right! Happy Halloween to you!

OMG! Cute little 2" blocks? Perhaps it did work! I can't possibly do 2" blocks this year!

*LOL* Rationalization, thy name is Kathy!!
You are so good at it! And you are so good at making it work, too, so go for it. I am living vicariously through you on these recent little SALs, so of course I am going to encourage you.
I actually am not doing this one, either. Far too many deadlines right now, and with my MIL's condition, there is far too little free time. So make it pretty and I will be cheering for you! : )

I Just clicked the link and looked. I should know better than to click links and look. It leads to trouble every time. I will not, i will not.........The sizes in the instructions look much more in your range than the Swoon blocks are. I am trying really hard to get my startitis under control, and have a friend, Gail from The Cozy Quilter, cheering me on to get things finished before starting anything new. It seems to be working.

I'm laughing out loud because I, too, have come down with a MAJOR case of startitis! It is most definitely contagious, and probably lethal. I'll be quarantined in my sewing room if anyone needs me....and they better not. Let the starting of MORE new projects begin!!

I have to agree with your little sign, quilting is my drug of choice for relaxing. Thanks for the laugh.

All those little pieces, I think I'll just live vicariously through your efforts.
