Votes For Women

Block #4 that was issued this week for the Grandmother's Choice: Votes For Women sampler is sure a challenge. It's a beautiful block, but I didn't even get to the sewing part of the challenge. My printer refused to co-operate to print out the templates. So I guess I'll skip this one.

This is block #3 which is called "Union Square".
I enjoyed sewing the block and reading about the Garrett sisters.
How are you doing with the sampler blocks? I've done 3 out of the first 4 - so far so good!

I hope you give your printer another chance, I love that Votes for Women block! Union Square looks great, but then I have a weakness for cheddar and green.

Nice block. Nice colors!
I made the first block. I think I'll try this one. The other two stumped me.

I lobe your colour combination on your block. I'm still working on the fourth one.I think there are half of the last round sewn on.

Nice block. I do have Kansas Sunflower done but oh boy it was a bear to get together. So maybe your printer was trying to tell you something. hahaha

Great block. I am three out of four as well. Mine are midget size though, so I'll skip the sunflower. It is a pretty block despite all the inset seams

Nice Block. Can you check the Quilter's Cache or Block base and get strip cutting instructions for the Block that won't print? Have fun with the BOW for Women's Votes. I'll have to go and read more about it. I'm resisting the "startitus" this time.

Thanks for the Quilters Cache idea! I've only done 3 as well. My printer does not print out those patterns and I don't have block base.

I can't print out the pattern either.
