Scrappy Saturday - Green
It's Scrappy Saturday and the colour of the month is green. I dug out some of my green scraps to piece a couple more blocks for my scrappy quilt. I just love piecing blocks like this, especially after the pathetic episode with my challenge block attempts ...I was ready for playing in the scrap bin!
These blocks are squared up to 6 1/2" so you can see that I used up a lot of little bits.

I like your greens! They look so different from mine as I have a lot of dark greens in my scraps.

Kathy, Your greens just woke up spring! Beautiful! You seem to be using scraps, but I have an idea for the 'scraps' of the scraps (the truely tiny pieces). This is a lot of fun. come see what I mean.

What great green blocks. Sometimes a little freedom is just what we need.
My green scraps would look dark and boring, if I'd sew them together. Yours are bold and vibrant and full of life! Love all the little snippets of design or other colors that show up here & there in each block. You definitely had fun with these.
