Scrappy Saturday

It's yellow month at the Rainbow Scrap Challenge. I have a few projects that need yellow additions, and I'm starting with organizing the scraps. These are the strips cut and ready to sew for Bitcoin ladders. Yellow is the last colour needed to put my Bitcoin quilt top together! I'm looking forward to sewing these this afternoon.

Another yellow event we are looking forward to is the blooming of daffodils, which always signals the end of winter. There are still many snowstorms for these feisty guys to survive, but at least they are on their way!

Always so fun to sew up the last color needed. Looking forward to seeing this one come together.

Great to see daffs coming up--not any yet here...ummm maybe I need a magnifying glass to double check hahaha-- my aging eyesight and all..
.Nice collection of yellow strips. I have a WHOLE baggy full of yellow scraps and I cannot even recall how they came to be? What did I make to leave me so many? Or did they just multiply by themselves--fabric mysteries abound here...[like what's in my deepest, darkest stash]

Working on binding the 2 Dolly quilts...
Have a good Saturday...very windy and rainy here...
hugs, Julierose

I like the bitcoin idea. I've been saving stripe ideas and you've got me adding that one.

Your yellows are so lovely! Our daffodils are up too, but no blooms yet. Maybe this week!!

Sorting through the scraps is half the fun of this rainbow challenge! My daffodils are about as tall as yours - can't wait to see some blooms!

What brave little daffodils you have. I'm sure they will be a riot of yellow in a month or so.
