Scrap Medicine

One of my favourite  things to do when life feels overwhelming is to sort scraps. My friend Jackie gave me a scrap bag and I spent a very  relaxing afternoon sorting the pieces into piles of same colours and sizes.

There were 1" squares and 1"  strips in neutrals and browns, and some larger teal pieces. There now, everything is sorted and the world has been set to right!

Did you come up with an idea for the fabrics? Happy stitching!

I had to smile at you finding sorting scraps relaxing. I find it tedious, so maybe I should send you mine!!

Ah yes, the meditative powers of scrap sorting! And, isn't it funny how someone else's scraps are so much more interesting than our own?

Isn’t it wonderful how a little shift in mental gears helps us feel better. Sorting scraps certainly brings a smile when done and put away😊. Any plans for using them?

What a wonderful bang of scraps, they are all cut! The colours are beautiful and all work well with each other. What will you make with this collection of scraps?

The BEST kind of medicine, Kathy! That reminds me... I've got several scrap bags waiting for processing.
