Plaid Beauty

I did it! I got all my plaid blocks sewn together into a quilt top before the end of the month!

This was a tricky quilt top to sew together.
Just look at this mess of seams and blocks!  It was very easy to get the blocks twisted around, and I'm still not 100% sure that I have them all oriented correctly, so if you see a block out of place, please tell me :)

Is there any planning to where you have put those little 4 patch squares in the larger 4 patch blocks.

Have I confused you yet

Looks perfect. Good thing you invited us too look closer. Otherwise, I would have missed those tiny 4-patches.

Amazing! Lots and lots of concentration to get all those blocks in the right direction. I love the little 4-patches in the larger 4-patches. I don't think I've seen that done before. Nice job!

Your quilt is beautiful! The time you must have spent on joining all those blocks together is mind boggling. Just lovely!

This is truly a beauty, and congratulations on getting it done. Every time I'm at Goodwill, I buy a few more plaid shirts. So far, all I'm doing is collecting, with no specific plans in mind, other than I know I need to get more light ones.
This pattern is definitely going on my list of quilts to make. I love the way you controlled the colors, and I love the little 4-patches you scattered here and there.

Love your plaid quilt top - this is the kind that everyone reaches for first to cozy up with. Nothing set wrong that I can see.

Very pretty! That would look great in a rustic log cabin...
Great job getting your UFO's finished off this year. I've yet to finish anything old this year.

WooHoo!! You go, girl! Love this scrappy plaid concoction. And like Robin and Vivian, I am tickled by those tiny 4-patches sprinkled in here and there. So fun!! : )

Yeah! Way to go! You did it! And it looks great! All the dark and light diagonals for the barn raising like setting are in place so give yourself a pat on the back! February finish is in under the wire.

I love this ... great pattern, luscious fabrics, excellent piecing ... what's not to love!!

I want to make a quilt out of plaids ... where did you find yours? I went fabric shopping yesterday and couldn't find a single plaid. :-(
