Slow Sunday Stitching

Welcome to the weekly hand stitching party here at Slow Sunday Stitching!

It has been a wild week for me with watching the Toronto Blue Jays vs. LA Dodgers baseball games. I am staying up too late at night and not stitching at much as usual. But I do try to put a few stitches into a project in each game. I have been stitching on the Needlework Press "Gather Together" which is a collection of unusual animals, and I am loving it!

I also stitched on Tiny Modernist's Spooky Night SAL on Halloween night. I have finished 8 motifs and now it will go into "the vault" for storage until next fall. I am a seasonal stitcher and once Halloween is over, I'm on to Christmas stitching!

Yesterday I posted a flosstube video of my October stitching using a new (to me) platform. I'm not loving new technology, but I know I will get used to it over time!

What are you hand stitching this week? Please share your slow progress by linking up your blog post below.

I'm sure your November calender will be marked full with many stitching projects before too long. You worked on some lovely pretties in October. Love the house sampler and the Halloween with the groovy witch and purple haunted house is wonderful. Love the colours in this.

We were rooting for the Blue Jays, too! I was so disappointed when they lost last night. Your Spooky Night has come so far this year, but I totally understand how you feel about seasonal stitching. The new Gather Together looks lovely!

You made a lot of progress on the Halloween stitchery. Gather together is really cute.

Aaaw your projects are adorable, Kathy. I love the cow in the Needlework Press piece- so cute. Enjoy your day and Happy November.

I love how you're a season stitcher and your projects are are so cute. I was rooting for the Blue Jays and my husband is a long-time Dodgers fan. It was a heartbreaking loss. However, I now have a baseball team to root for next year! My Daddy used to love birds, so it's easy to root for the Blue Jays.

I was also disappointed that the Blue Jays did not win. They certainly gave it their all. You have a good portion of the Halloween project done...you should be able to finish it for next Halloween. Your full coverage project is starting to look like something!
