Design Wall Monday Pumpkins

I'm not sure why this mystery quiltalong has captured my interest so much. I'm not a big Halloween fan, but I have really enjoyed sewing this project.

Well, except when things don't end up where they should be. That's okay, these problems are so easy to fix.

Here are my  pumpkin blocks.
I super love these! I'm very happy with my orange fabric choices. The pieces went together so well with the great directions in this pattern.

I'm ready to move on to the next block, which is a complex star block, and the finishing instructions for this project will be posted today.

The sewing room gremlins did a number on that one star block! Lol! Pumpkins look great!

I really like this pumpkin pattern too - it's the block in the center combined with the pumpkin that makes it so cute. I am fighting starting to make it, and trying to concentrate on finishing the UFOs at hand. So, I am enjoying your journey - good work! Hugs, Judy

I really like the addition of the light purple to this Halloween color scheme and the pumpkins are adorable!

Very cute! Glad the unsewing wasn’t too painful. I love orange but don’t seem to use a lot of it in quilts.

I’m not a Halloween fan either but the star in the middle would draw me in.

I’m not a Halloween 🎃 fan either but the star in the middle would have drawn me in.

I see pumpkins cropping up and I love it as they are one of my favourite things.
