I started a new project inspired by Nann who blogs at With Strings Attached. She calls it "waffle stamps" and you can see her most recently finished quilt here.
Here is my first test block. It is made with 1.5" squares and strips, and it's a perfect RSC project to use up these size scraps.
It's also a great leader-ender project, so it's a win-win in my sewing room!
Here are my first 4 pink waffle blocks. It's so fun to have a new RSC project. Don't you find that new projects have more energy than old ones??
Hop over to the RSC linkup to see what the quilters are sewing with pink scraps.

This is a pretty block! Looks like a great project for RSC. Was this post entirely written with the new blogger format? Happy stitching!
oooh - I like that scrappy fun idea
What a great project. I have some 1.5 inch strips in the drawer....Have fun with your new project - and yes, the new ones are sew much more fun than the old ones!
What a fun scrappy block--and the name is fun too!
I saw Nann's quilt on her blog yesterday and fell in love with it. I ave lots of scraps already sewn. Do I dare start a new quilt? Yep! You betcha. Love your pink blocks!
I love these blocks! I already have a wonderful leader and ender quilt on the go, but maybe I can join in on RSC again after a long hiatus
Yes, a new project is definitely fun! Those are great blocks - I liked Nann's quilt, too!
I have a bunch of leftover 1-1/2 strip pieces. I think Nann has started a new trend.
Oooh, done in RSC colors -- terrific! (But some advance warning: this project will not eliminate ALL of your scraps. :))
I love it! Such a fun block with the variety of fabrics.
I'm SEW jealous, Kathy!! I saw Nann's project, but can't justify starting a new project right now.
Your blocks are so pretty!
I do love your waffle blocks!

I was tempted by Nann's blocks, too! I think I'll just watch you make them for a while, though :)
