Lots of power sewing is going on this weekend, and in between piecing the quilt blocks I am trying to finish, I am making little Alamo Stars as leader/enders. You can see one brown star being slowly made, and two green and blue star pieces clipped together ready to be the next leader/ender block.
These are the first 6 stars finished using greenish batik scraps, and some leftover brown pieces from last month.

The lime and brown look really great together. Beautiful!
Beautiful stars! I love all scrappy things.
That's a great little star. Your 6 are looking very happy sitting there together. ;-)
What beautiful batik Alamo Stars you've made! Such a smart quilter to use them for Leaders and Enders. I get too sidetracked when I try to work that way...even though it's a GREAT time saving technique!
I'm always so impressed with those itty bitty stars. I love them!
Oh such cute little stars ...Alamo huh? Hmmmm Maybe next year's RSC??? hugs, Julierose
Always enjoy seeing these cute little stars.
Lovely little stars Kathy.
Scrappy Makes us HAPPY! Have a fun time making your stars! The Mystery is coming SOON. QuiltCam tomorrow!
Love the Alamo stars but what is more intriguing is what they are leader enders for with all that power sewing.
This weekend marks the end of one season of deer hunting. So I might get a wee bit more sewing in this week.
Those Alamo Stars are going to make such a gorgeous quilt.
That's a nice little block! I look forward to seeing them all together!
Cute stars. I've never heard of that name before, but I have visited the Alamo. Keep up the good work!
Ooh, la la!
