The Tetris Quilt Along continues over at the Happy Quilting blog, and I have just completed block #4. I am using 3" squares, so my blocks will finish at 14.5".
I am so delighted to be using up these old brights from my stash, and although it is yet another quilt to finish, the pace makes it manageable to squeeze in between other projects.
These are the first 4 blocks so far. I am flowing the leftover squares into the blocks above so that every shape in the quilt will look like an actual Tetris piece.
My quilt will likely be 3 blocks across and 4 blocks down, with sashing and border added, it becomes the perfect comfort quilt donation. Melissa is posting 6 blocks, so I will be making 2 of each block (eventually).

Such a fun looking quilt, and the fabrics are wonderful.
I remember playing Tetris 'til I would see the shapes when I WASN'T playing. Kinda like when I got that first Nintendo with Mario for my kids back in the 80's.
Very pretty. I like the bright colors. Seems like I remember my son mentioning Tetris awhile back.
Oh how happy!
I never played Tetris, so I don't have any idea of how the pattern imitates the game. What I do know is that I really like the way the block polka dot blocks are sprinkled in there. They give depth to the beautiful, bright fabrics.
Wow!!! That is looking amazing!! I love it!!
This looks great all together!!
