Welcome to Slow Sunday Stitching where we celebrate the art of creating things with our hands. All forms of hand stitching activities are welcome here :)
I have also been stitching almost daily on the Quick Quaker stitch-a-long from Modern Folk Embroidery. I am using a variety of green threads that we are started to enjoy at the beginning of spring.
The daily videos that Jacob posts are educational and inspiring. One of my favourites so far was when he sang "How can I keep from singing" on Day 10's video. If you go to the 17 minute mark on the video, you can hear him sing this beautiful old hymn of the quakers and he sings all the harmony parts himself! I'll probably listen to it again this morning as I stitch another part of this lovely pattern. What are you hand stitching today? Do you listen to music as you stitch your projects? LInk up your blog post below and share what you are working on.

Love the colors in your Quaker stitch along. The Valentine Day pillow is a cutie. Glad you can find a sweet place for the left behind scraps to land.
Such a cute Valentine’s Day pillow! Nice backing for it too. Your green Quaker stitching is coming along beautifully! So many pretty greens.
Thats a pretty finish. Have a good day.
I love how you finished your Sweetly Sayin with the tiny pink rick rack, Kathy! That is so sweet. And the Quaker all in greens is lovely, too. Enjoy your stitching today!
Sweetly Sayin' turned out really cute. Enjoy your slow stitching today. You have a fun project in the works.
Love your Sweetly Sayin finish also. I have been wanting to do a Quaker. I like yours a lot!
Hi Kathy, thanks for the party. It looks like we should be getting more sun and less rain soon :-) Have a great week.
