Welcome to the weekly hand stitching party! Pull up a comfy chair, make yourself a cup of your favourite drink (it's pumpkin spice time!) and join us while we add a few stitches to our multiyear projects!
I'm enjoying the hand embroidery of another tea towel (design by Stitcher's Revolution). Today is forecast to be a rainy day here, so I'll be slowly stitching the remaining letters and listening to the rain.
What are your slow stitching plans for today? Link up your blog post below and share your project with us.
Why, I'm sitting here enjoying a cup of Melbourne Breakfast tea. =) I haven't tried pumpkin spice latte. Enjoy your stitching as you listen to the rain. This tea towel is a fun one! Love the quote!
ReplyDeleteNothing better than a handwork project to stitch while it rains outside. Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteI am just curious about the taste of that pumpkin spice drink, Kathy.
ReplyDeleteIs there anything more calming than embroidering while listening to the rain? Maybe so, but enjoy the moment. Happy Slow Stitching
I'm in the pub garden drinking a cool larger and lime, I have to say after a long hilly walk it's a real pleasure! That said your pumpkin spice drink sounds nice. Your tea towel embroideries are expanding. I think you'll have the whole set finished in no time!
ReplyDeleteI found some pumpkin spice coffee that I will enjoy for sure
ReplyDeleteI love a rainy day for sewing, too. I got my link this time, had to use my email instead of my InLinkz login to get it to work.
ReplyDeleteFor once, I'll actually be slow stitching on a Sunday (I usually do my slow stitching on weekday mornings). Not sure if I'll get a post up or not. Have fun stitching!
ReplyDeleteThat's a cute tea towel design! Enjoy your rainy, slow-stitching day!
ReplyDeleteI have had visitors so my morning got away from me. I will do a blog post later...slow stitching will be knitting today while watching nascar racing!
ReplyDeleteYour drink looks yummy. That embroidery is one I haven't done yet. I have to get a few more tea towels prepared. Hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteHi Kathy,
ReplyDeleteI like your tea towel...you always some really
interesting embroidery projects to OOOOh and Aaaah
at. Have a great day!
Stitching while listening to the gentle rain does sound like a wonderful evening. I really enjoy seeing your tea towels. I was recently at a little general store hoping to find a tea towel to embroider on as well but alas they did not have any. Oh well an online order is in need then. Thank you for the inspiration and for hosting the link party. Happy quilting.
