Slow Sunday Stitching

Welcome to the weekly hand stitching party! Thanks for dropping by! We want to encourage you in the slow process of creating treasures by hand.

I am so excited to have nothing planned for today! I might do a bit of pulling weeds, and then some hand quilting, and some knitting, or I might do nothing at all. It's a wonderful feeling to have a whole day in front of you to do whatever you want!

What are you doing today? We'd love to see what you hands are stitching, so link up your blog post below and share your project with us!

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

  2. I always have quilting to do but I've started sorting through my quilting magazines and removing the issues that don't have any quilts of interest to me. I'll be donating those to the quilting corner at our relief sale. So far I've boxed half of them to donate. I'll also be sorting through some other drawers for items to donate. Have a wonderful day doing whatever you want to do. Make sure you spend some time listening to the birds sing!

  7. I love days to choose how I will spend them. I get a lot of those now that I’m retired. ❤️❤️❤️

  8. I finished an embroidery yesterday, and I'm hoping it will become a completed mug rug later today (machine stitching, not hand stitching). Enjoy your relaxing day.

  11. My daughter is visiting today so that she can help me cook to restock my mother's freezer. I will totally enjoy doing that with her. Enjoy your day with nothing to do except what tickles your fancy.

  12. I seem to have misplaced my knitting in the last week, and putting a lot of stuff in my sewing room to get ready for my new kitchen floor. It is wonderful to have the whole day to do as you like though. After my hard-working company leaves. Have a great day!
