Easy Breezy Design Wall

On the design wall today are my most recently sewn Easy Breezy blocks. This is the 2020 Quiltville leader - ender project that started last July. I have been slowly sewing these 4" blocks as a Rainbow Scrap Challenge project over the year. and have sewn 130+ of them so far.

This weekend I played with a scrap bag, and cut and coordinated 24 more blocks. They are ready to sew, but they might not be done leader-ender style, since the new challenge will be posted in July and I'd like to finish this one before I am tempted by the new one!

  1. I'm going to keep on making EB blocks for one of my RSC projects. I too look forward to see what block Bonnie is going to come up with this year. I do know if it contains HST's, I probably won't participate, too many easier blocks to make with only squares!

  2. Good idea to make up sets of these scrappy blocks so you'll be ready to go when the muse demands!

  3. I have a few more blocks cut to sew —your cute smaller ones look great together. Mine are very varied and kinda wild! I think I’ll have 70 or so by July.

  4. Once I have parts cut out, I usually go and sew them all up, so I'm not so good at leaders and enders.
    They look great.

  9. So will these 24 blocks be the end, or do you plan to make a bunch more? Somehow I can't imagine that when Bonnie posts the next one you won't join, regardless of the stage you are at with this one. :)
