I have been working diligently on my Allietare blocks. I am amazed that some finished quilt tops and even finished quilts have already been posted on the Quiltville blog!
Here are all of my "Echoes of Pisa" blocks on the design wall.
I am ready to start working on the Allietare Star blocks. All the components are ready and just need to be sewn together.
To see more design walls, hop over to Patchwork Times.
I'm also amazed at how fast some people can put a quilt together, especially one of Bonnies. I've come to the conclusion they never cook or clean, just sewing from sun up to sundown. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Love your blocks and looking forward to your big reveal!
ReplyDeleteYour blocks look good, way to use up up scraps for the centers. I set this as my OMG so I'm in no hurry to get it all finished this week. The Echoes of Pisa blocks would make a nice quilt by themselves. I think my 2nd Allietare' will only have them in it. The Allietare' Star blocks are more involved. Too many ways to turn the parts and have to unsew.
ReplyDeleteGreat progress on your quilt. I'm not sure how people get such complicated quilts done oh so quickly. I do wish that I could sew without interruption, but, well...life
ReplyDeleteLooking good, Kathy! I am amazed at how much you get done!
ReplyDeleteGreat looking quilt--your color combinations work well together
ReplyDeleteSo very, very nice!
ReplyDeleteI should get back to mine! Took a break from all that piecing.I am with you, can't believe how many have their tops done already!
ReplyDeleteLove your fabric choices! I think this is my favorite so far.
ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying watching all the different variations of this quilt coming together - I love your colour combinations and that bluey/grey background :)
ReplyDeleteThose blocks could make a lovely quilt all on their own--very pretty!
ReplyDeleteThose blocks do look nice together.
ReplyDeleteI have been floored to see some already scalloped and bound. How do people do it?
I've been amazed at all of the completed tops as well!
ReplyDeleteIt is so much fun seeing all of the different versions of Bonnie's mystery. I saved the parts and maybe one of these days, I'll get to mine. I love your colors and can't wait to see it all done. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteThese would look terrific as their own quilt. But I know they will look fabulous as Bonnie designed it. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteThey look wonderful. I wish I had joined in the fun. I did download all of the parts of the mystery, so I think this quilt is a must. but I have had a great time watching from the sidelines. I especially love your fabric choices.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on getting all of the Echoes of Pisa blocks done. They'd make a great quilt all on their own.
