My first two Allietare Star blocks are together, and here they are with two of the Pisa blocks. I am so happy that I went with the scrappy greys and am getting excited to see how the quilt is going to look when the blocks are together and on pointe!
Nice looking blocks and the scrappy gray looks great. Bonnie Hunter has put out a call for gray strings for a new quilt project. With your leftover scraps and strings you will be ready to go when she releases it!
It's a big job, isn't it? I will be lucky to finish the flimsy by the end of the month. I agree, your scrappy greys are nice, and they still show up well. Onwards!
Isn't it fun to get that first glimpse of how the blocks are going to work together and be happy with your choices? Your fabric combinations look great!
This is so pretty. I'm looking forward to seeing the completed quilt. Blessings, Gretchen

ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful, such wonderful fabrics. I didn't use any constant in mine. I look forward to seeing more blocks together.
ReplyDeleteCarry on! It's looking good! My blocks are sewn in rows, awaiting press time with the iron tomorrow.
