The butterfly and the flower in the stitchery make it a perfect block to sew in the middle of the summer!

ReplyDeleteI have been making "whatever" smoothies - I take whatever is in the fruit bowl, a frozen banana, some yogurt (I freeze the little tubs) whatever juice is on hand, a couple of spinach leaves or avocado - haven't had a bad combo yet.

Ice Tea... Fresh Brewed Ice Tea...not sun tea. Brewed at least twice a day at our house to get thru the 100+ temps and no air conditioning. .

ReplyDeleteGood old H2O is my favorite beverage... although I do indulge in an iced coffee when it is really hot and humid out. All this stitch work is making me want to pull out my book on rework and try some.

ReplyDeleteWhen it's hot, humid and sticky in Illinois,mi love a big glass of sweet tea, brewed the way my aunts taught me. You put tea bags in boiling water in a pot, take it off the heat and let it sit. Take out the teabags after 5 minutes and put in half a cup of sugar. Pour over ice in a pitcher, adding a little water if it's too dark. Pour over ice in a glass and enjoy!
