On my design wall today is the Temecula Letter Sew Along. All the sashing is sewn together and that took me quite a while to complete. The quilt is smaller than I thought it would be, so I am thinking of adding a larger border to make it a bigger baby quilt.
All of these coloured fabrics are hand dyed by Vicki Welsh and they have been so lovely to work with. I won them by participating in the Rainbow Scrap Challenge - how lucky am I?!?! To see more design wall postings, hop over to Patchwork Times.
This is beautiful with the hand-dyed fabrics. Congratulations on your finish. I just finished the alphabet this weekend, and still have to do blocks and sashing to finish the top. Yours is so different to my scraps!
Such a happy quilt. Those fabrics are so rich and lovely--will you piece a border from them, or find something else that will coordinate and not require piecing?
It's such a cute quilt. Vicki's fabrics are so bright and cheerful. I won a pack of Vicki's fabrics back in October and haven't yet figured out what to make with them. You put your winnings to good use.
Great little quilt - love all the dotty with the colour. Yes, this is small and needs a border or two.
