I have been making some blocks for my guild's monthly quilt pattern project. Doesn't this block look yummy beside the Tim Horton'ssmall takeout cup of coffee? I love the seasonal cups that Tim's have this year with the knitted patterns on them! Just look at this cup - it's the medium size with the red knitting pattern. So adorable! And the QPOM blocks are adorable too! All are scrappy and sometimes matchy. It is fun to pick out 3 scraps for each block.
And here is the large blue cup for when you are really thirsty. It inspired me to add some blue scraps into the quilt. I am having a great time with this pattern and with trying out all sizes of the Tim's cups!
Those QPOM blocks are very pretty. Filing away for future play... Mine will have to be without the pretty Tim's cups though. Tim's hasn't made it to Iowa. I could really go for some Timbits right now!
Love the block.. and they show off the cups so well! I really wish there was a TH down here near me. Love their coffee and soups. What size finished is the block? Might be a great little scrap buster for me.... if I get distracted from finishing putting blocks together.
You're funny! So imaginative! Love it. Love those cute little blocks you are making too. Now I'm thirsty for a Timmy. It's a 15 min drive to the closest one :( Okay, maybe in the morning I'll get one :)
We don't have that brand coffee here and I am not a coffee drinker so never would have seen the cups. I like the cup designs. Have you seen the Fair Isle Sew Along? http://www.freshlypieced.com/2014/10/fair-isle-sew-along-part-1.html
I am a medium double double with milk but I may just get the large next time. Love the blue.
ReplyDeleteHow many quilts do you have on the go?
Your blocks are very nice. How big will it be? Coffee looks good too.
