The Rainbow Scrappers are working with the dark colours this month. Many of my ongoing scrap projects could benefit from the darker blocks which provide contrast. This week I sewed a few dark 3" spool blocks and joined them into six 6" blocks for my scrappy spools project. To see more rainbow scrap challenge posts, hop over to SoScrappy.
Scrappy, Happy Saturday to you! I'm headed down to make some headway on that Scrappy pile on my cutting mat. It's time to get in some Scrap Management. After you showed your pile the other day it's been on my mind. Wish I knew which size strips Bonnie was using for the mystery...LOL
Your spools are wonderful...a traditional block that I love to see!
ReplyDeleteThe brown spools will make a nice addition to your quilt. How long until you have enough spools for a quilt?
ReplyDeleteI love your spools ... I do believe that I need to move that block higher up my to-do list. ;-)
ReplyDeleteYour spools are lovely.
ReplyDeleteGreat variety in your dark spools. You must be getting close to having enough spools for a quilt. : )
