Deckade the halls Step # 8 block is called "Trim the Tree". It was the quickest and easiest step so far. Did you notice the perfect background fabric I found in the stash with little Christmas trees on it?! Step #9 called Cocoa cups has been posted, so that is on the "to-do" list to complete this week. The finishing instructions will soon be posted, so I have to get on it. This quilt has been such a joy to make, with perfect, full colour instructions, and a detailed video for each step to watch if you are a new quilter....and I have made the entire quilt from my stash. The only thing better than all of this would be to finish the quilt by Christmas!
That IS the perfect background fabric! Fun trees, too. Thanks for keeping me updated on the releases. I am saving the patterns for "someday." You know that day, don't you? : )
Since you said these trees are easy, I just printed the directions so I can work on them today. And, I also printed the cups, just in case I run out of things to do. HA!
You can do it!!!
ReplyDeleteThey look great! Your background fabric is perfect - so nice to be able to just shop the stash!!
