I much prefer to sew garments from the beginning than repairing them. A friend brought me a winter boot and asked that I fix the strap. (!??) Maybe they figure that because I like to sit in front of a sewing machine, I will appreciate having the challenge of working with all kind of materials!! lol. I referred her to a shoe repair shop. ;^)Chantalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14772079099766225814noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34488264.post-20800532753431290242016-08-25T09:26:22.214-04:002016-08-25T09:26:22.214-04:00You are a trooper! You are a trooper!Frances Meredithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04104930796940716484noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34488264.post-20071315912581430672016-08-25T08:36:52.840-04:002016-08-25T08:36:52.840-04:00Yes some non quilty stuff comes up and I must say ...Yes some non quilty stuff comes up and I must say I only do it for the ones I love.I would much rather be doing my stuff.Deanna Whttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16154397869601261568noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34488264.post-298868809343673962016-08-25T08:26:10.093-04:002016-08-25T08:26:10.093-04:00Well I do not what you mean about non-quilt sewing...Well I do not what you mean about non-quilt sewing. She purchased a few blazers and asked if I could make them into 3/4 sleeves. I advised her to go to a tailor. I didn't want to do it, but truthfully that's probably outside of the scope of my experience! Years ago children's hockey leagues came out with a "stop" patch on the back of the jerseys to cut down on checking from behind. I was asked to help out sewing them on. No problem, something I was glad to do! I did tell them in the future that this kind of thing should be done before the jerseys are worn...cuz what a smell!!!SandraChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16016700656180845566noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34488264.post-72524963331557166402016-08-25T07:53:00.982-04:002016-08-25T07:53:00.982-04:00I have done the badges on military shirts and real...I have done the badges on military shirts and really don't care to but couldn't it down.
