Too many scrappy colors get me confused and they end up pooling together. If you really want to use the red and the mustard, then I would get rid of the 3 lightest lights, that way the darker lights will blend into the mustard color better and the red will read as a 'bright'.audreyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18102559813211702736noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34488264.post-57668402271192741632013-03-22T14:18:43.589-04:002013-03-22T14:18:43.589-04:00I love the KT line..... one of these day's I&#...I love the KT line..... one of these day's I'll get some more.
hmmmm. I'd go with what you have for colors. The gold would be a nice pop in the 'lights' and the red a nice pop in the 'darks'. Or... just wait and decide once the mystery starts. I think Missy has a good suggestion, but I think the red would make a good dark--the "mustard" is the only one I might think about not using.
Good luck with this. I will be interested to see how it works out. : )Janet O.https://www.blogger.com/profile/05083607398709252597noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34488264.post-36786884154041272222013-03-22T09:56:27.679-04:002013-03-22T09:56:27.679-04:00The mustard and red match, but if you take it out,...The mustard and red match, but if you take it out, it would be easier for you to follow her two color theme, by substituting your lights for one color and darks for the other color she is using.Missy Shayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05209549470700130606noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34488264.post-72057484333273580072013-03-22T09:56:14.461-04:002013-03-22T09:56:14.461-04:00I love the Kansas trouble line...just my colours. ...I love the Kansas trouble line...just my colours. I think you could possibly use the gold as a dark very dark light? And if you are bored easily than leave the red in, I don't think it looks out of place. Mystery quilts are great and this way yours will look very different from everyone elses!
I would love to join in but I have too many things(quilts) on the go already. I am hoping that tonight is as productive as last weekend was. Happy Friday!!!
Your Northern Blog Stalker :)
Deanna Whttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16154397869601261568noreply@blogger.com
