Welcome to the weekly hand stitching party! It's time to slow down and find one of your projects to put some stitches into.
I'll be adding a few stitches to my full coverage project today, which is a Heaven and Earth Design pattern called Mini Treasure Hunt Bookshelf. I love getting lost in the threads and stitching on this project. There is a lot of confetti stitching, which means one stitch here and another stitch far away. But I'll keep at it and I because I enjoy the process so much, even confetti stitching doesn't deter me!
I made a video to show the projects I worked on in August - you can see the update here.
Thanks for visiting today and I hope you have some progress to share on your projects. You can link up your blogpost below.
Good morning! I can start to see the books! It’s exciting when your full coverage piece starts to look like something recognizable. Stitch on!
ReplyDeleteYour stitching projects look great, love the idea of a bookshelf. I had to laugh at the Anti-Summer, that me! I cannot stand the heat and love the fall and winter more. I know, I'm weird.
ReplyDeleteI think confetti stitching sounds horrible! Good for you to enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colours in your bookshelf cross stitch project. I'm not sure I could do it!!
ReplyDeleteYour project is lovely - and I'm learning to value the skill of confetti stitching as it adds so much dimension to the finished project.
ReplyDeleteYour project is beautiful, great work!
ReplyDeleteI don't enjoy confetti stitching, but the final result is always gorgeous. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteWow! Kathy, that stitching is so dense, I don't know as I could do it! The color movement is really beautiful. :)
ReplyDeleteWow! That's a lot of work! I've been doing some emboridery, the counted cross stitch was causing me headaches!
