Christmas 2023 is in full swing here, and everyone is taking a wee nap right now to prepare for the next round of visits. So I thought I would write a little blog post to wish everyone a Merry Christmas!
I did some cross stitch yesterday, trying to finish the words on my Christmas sampler. I stitched late into the night until I finished them! What better time to stitch "Merry Christmas" than on Christmas Eve!?!?
This is how far I stitched in December on my Quaker Christmas sampler.
Very pretty! I'd probably keep working on it, it doesn't look like you've got much left to do on it. Hope you had a very Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteif you are close to finishing it I would stick with it so it's done
ReplyDeleteLove the quilt on your Christmas header! Great projects for some slow stitching.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas my dear friend. I am home this year with my daughter. Not a lot of sewing or stitching getting done but rest is good. Wishing you all goos things in the new year too. Great aunt status is a good start!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas Kathy.
ReplyDeleteLove your quilt. Enjoy the holidays!
Wow, Kathy you made great progress on the Quaker sampler. It looks like you are close to a finish and your needles on fire. So I say go for it and finish this lovely stitch! :) Wishing you a very Happy New Year. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteIf you observed the Orthodox calendar you'd still have a week before Christmas -- I'd finish it! Then you'll have it all ready for next year.
