Welcome to the weekly hand stitching party where we celebrate and enjoy a wide variety of stitching options! It's very hot here this weekend, so I'll be sitting beside the air conditioner and stitching with a minimum of movements!

Learning new stitches is so rewarding. I've been learning lots of new embroidery stitches, slowly but surely. Happy Sunday
ReplyDeleteI'm also knitting more lately - just hats because it's too hot for big projects in the lap. If you like the hand of this combination of needles and yarn, just reduce the number of stitches (by the number of stitches in a pattern repeat).

ReplyDeleteNo hand stitching yet, but I am working on a wool design for fall. Your knitting stitch is really nice!
ReplyDeleteThe bee stitch is so sweet. My mother made lots of thongs with it. I have already a coat she knitted with bee stitch for me. Your orange dishcloth is looking great. For a future work Smaller (finer) needles for the same yarn and you will get the size. Happy stitching.

ReplyDeleteI'm sure some of the knitters would be able to tell you why your piece is larger - possible smaller needles and finer yarn? I'm a beginner at that so I don't know
