Green Waffles |
Here are the green waffles made this month. I love how this project uses up all the 1.5" squares!
Here are all the waffles blocks I've sewn. It's a riot of colour! You can really notice the colours that are lacking... more orange and purple, and some teal and light blue.
Linking up to the weekly RSC party
So fun to see the waffle blocks come together to play. It is a riot of color. Such a great block for the tiny bits.

ReplyDeleteI really like this. I could not have imagined liking it all together but it works.
ReplyDeleteThis is amazing!!!
ReplyDeleteI like waffle quilts - they go together fast and one can use a lot of little scraps
ReplyDeleteLove that block!! Great way to use up 1 1/2" squares. I've been cutting them for awhile and putting them into a little container, which is going to have to be a bigger container soon lol. This would be a great way to use them up!
ReplyDeleteThe color range is wonderful and the squares sparkle!
ReplyDeleteLove your waffle blocks, Kathy! The picture of all the colors you've made so far all together is wonderful!

ReplyDeleteYour waffles are fantastic! (Must resist the urge to start another quilt... must resist the urge to start another quilt... must resist...)
ReplyDeleteWow! Your RSC block collection has really grown, Kathy!!
ReplyDeleteEvery time I see your waffle blocks I want to make some. They are a wonderful scrap concoction!

ReplyDeleteWell, I did it! I got out my drawer of 1 1/2" strips and squares and made a little block on Saturday! LOVE, love, love this one. Now I'll have to discipline myself to save them for leaders/enders :-). I will make all kinds of different colours and eventually make it into a quilt. Squirrel!!!!
