On the design wall today is the jelly bean project. I have all the blocks sewn together on point which I thought looked more interesting. Cozy Quilter Gail sent me more jelly bean fabric since I had run out of scraps. It's a slightly different jelly bean fabric, but it gave me an idea of another border to add which I'll work on this week.
Linking up to Small Quilts
This will be very cute! I noticed the top centre block is rotated 90 degrees.
ReplyDeleteSweet little quilt.
ReplyDeleteSo nice to have friends who will send you more scraps when yours run low. Glad that you had enough to finish the top.
ReplyDeleteSuch a “sweet” little project! I’m glad my jelly beans will fit in!
ReplyDeleteI like how you paired the jelly bean fabric with different colors to add more interest!
ReplyDeleteOoh, the jelly bean fabric is perfect to be working with this week! I heard the sweetest "game" to do with little kids for Easter. A mom took her toddler outside to "plant" jelly beans in the garden, and then on Easter Morning there was a big, old-fashioned lollipop sticking up from the dirt right where the jelly bean had been! I wanted to do this with my 17-year-old but he was NOT up for it... :-)
ReplyDeleteLOVE the jelly bean fabrics! Great way to use them.
ReplyDeleteVery nice, and it's so lovely that quilters are always happy to share their fabrics too.
ReplyDeletethe color combinatins are beautiful, looks very good
