The summer mystery quilt from my local quilt guild is on the design wall today.
This has been a terrific scrap user with every piece coming from my fabric stash. This photo shows the end of step #4 with the addition of 44 flying geese blocks. I removed the brightest yellow geese blocks that I didn't like (on this photo) and decided to have the flying geese blocks point to the middle on both sides. There is one step left in the mystery which consists of 2 more borders to add.

This is fun ... I love scrappy quilts and you're right -- this makes terrific use of them and shows them off nicely, too! :)
