Design Wall Monday

I was hoping to post my updated version of Unity, the ongoing Quiltville mystery. But I did not finish part 4 yet and as of today's new step being posted I will be 3 steps behind.
It's okay ... at least some progress has been made.
Some blocks for part 4 were sewn and I really like how they are turning out.
part 4 blocks
I'm using green and yellow fabrics for the star blocks with blue floral centres.
Oh for heaven's sake... there is always one in every crowd that doesn't follow the rules! I'll get the seam ripper out, fix the one wayward block and hope to catch up this week. Hopefully the requests for mask making will subside and I'll have more time for fun sewing.
Linking up to Small Quilts.

And for all you Star Wars fans... "May the 4th be with you"!
I just happen to be working on my sixth 1,000 piece pandemic puzzle which is a Star Wars themed puzzle.
Perhaps if I wasn't doing jigsaw puzzles obsessively, I'd get more quilting done!

  1. There's always something, LOL!! Wayward block aside, looks like great progress to me. I always forget Star Wars Day, may the fourth be with you too.

  2. You'll get caught up on Unity. My oldest son is a HUGE Star Wars fan, and his college graduation was on May 4th.

  3. Always one that needs to get straightened out! I hear you when you say obsessive about jigsaw puzzles and not getting anything else done! That's exactly why I haven't started a puzzle during the pandemic...I would be obsessed with getting it done! It has been hard to resist though!

  5. I looked the blocks over twice and was ready to give up when I finally find the errant one. It's like reading over typos, your mind fills in the right word/block. I've been doing online jigsaw puzzles, so I'm usually done between 1 and 2 hours instead of spending days.

  6. Hey Kathy...what ever works! I'm also listening to audio books obsessively! We do what we have to. Take care.

  9. Love your color palette for Unity! I've decided it's not a race and I'm just going to meander my way through the steps.
