March UFO Goal

We will not talk about my outrageous February goal to finish the 150 Canadian Women quilt top. I knew it was a crazy goal, but sometimes you just have to try, you know?!? I made great progress and got about half of the blocks together in February.
But this month I will be more realistic and set an achievable goal!

Two years ago I finally put together my asterisks quilt top. I loved making these blocks, but putting them together into a quilt top was arduous and I had to put the quilt in time out for a while. Now is the time to get it out, and two full years later... get it done!

I have the pin basting started and am eager to start the machine quilting as soon as I decide on a quilting design... what to quilt?!?

Linking up to One Monthly Goal.

  4. If I haven't got a idea of a quilting design before I pin baste...usually by the time the quilt is pinned to death...I know exactly what I want to do. Pretty asterisks quilt, can't wait to see what you do!!

  10. Half done is a very good start! Just enough to follow through on a later day.:) Funny how some quilts have to be in time out for awhile for us to be able to face working on them once again. Looking forward to seeing this asterick quilt finished up!:)

  11. Good for you! I'm too chicken to even give myself a monthly goal. I'm afraid I would abandon it if I didn't meet the goal and I have too many UFO's already. I love the asterisk top and the name!
