Welcome to the weekly hand stitching party!
Sunday is our day to slow down and rest, to be thankful... and to stitch!
This is the time of year when my creativity is at an all time high. I have lots of ideas for Christmas gifts, and never enough time to make all my brilliant ideas. I have never made bunny pyjamas, but I have made a wide range of gifts over the years.
Today I'm working on a Christmas embroidery design from Gail Pan (free pattern here - thanks Gail!)
I love giving homemade gifts, too! It's like giving a bit of yourself! I will *never* gift anyone pink bunny pjs, though! :)
ReplyDeleteThat bunny outfit is awesome! (Especially those feet) The little red work Christmas panel is very sweet and I've download the pattern.......ummmm do I have time to stitch it I wonder!
ReplyDeleteme too never will I give anyone a bunny suit - lol -he was too old but it did look so cute - love that movie - have a great day
ReplyDeleteI stitched some of those sweet little designs this week, too! Yours will make a cute mug rug. Enjoy your Sunday stitching, Kathy!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for link to the free designs. I've made quite a few homemade gifts so far. Still have a few to go. Today I hope to finish up my Buhl-Bushong piece, because Decembers has already come out!
ReplyDeleteChristmas is only 24 days away - this is what we get with a late Thanksgiving! No wonder people were putting up the tree before Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteLove the Gail Pan blocks!
Housework, laundry, coffee, blogging, coffee, sewing up Bonnie's first mystery clue...coffee!!!!I was up way too early this morning, waiting for daylight to go for my daily walk. Started out in the dark and watched a pretty pink/purple sky light up!!Pretty yes but not a good omen!! Happy stitching!!
ReplyDeleteYou really made me laugh with the reference to "A Christmas Story". I always make hand made gifts for Christmas - sometimes my kids love them and sometimes...not so much! This movie is one of our favorites to watch at the holidays. I really love your Gail Pan stitchery and will enjoy seeing it when it's done.
