Scrappy Saturday

October is green month over at the Rainbow Scrap Challenge. It's time to sew up our little green scraps into something useable.

I started the month making another Circle of Squares block using dark green scraps.

Here is the block collection on the design wall. It only needs one more block to make my goal of 20 blocks. What colour does it need for the last block?

Hop over to the RSC linkup to see more green scraps being used up.

  1. I love the center square of green dots in this one! Could you use another red block, maybe? :)

  2. Well I know you like blue, but another red would be good too.

  3. This quilt is wonderful. My choice would be for a bright, medium blue or a green-blue. But red is a good idea too.

  4. I love these blocks!
I'd vote for another brown, since you have lots of nice brights. (I'm trying not to say orange, of course, because I ALWAYS say more orange!)

  5. How about a multicolored one? (because I'm with Gayle, I always say orange and I'm trying not to say orange.) The project looks good so far. Good luck with the decision. ;^)

  7. Both of my ideas have already been mentioned by others--either a multicolored block or a darker brown. Great blocks--this will be a beautiful quilt!

  8. I'm thinking another purple... but red would be good since there's only one. (At least on my computer screen there's only one red...)

  10. Dark GREEN or a dark multi for that final block? That's my vote!
