It must be the week for binding...my friend Debby is also hand stitching a binding on a quilt-as-you-go project. Part of her binding is made of satin so it will be an extra cuddly quilt.
And my sister is also hand stitching a binding on a baby boy quilt. She uses the binding clips that resemble hair clips and her stitches are microscopic.

I'm working on my much neglected GFA and a yo-yo quilt today....well...actually most of the week. Slow stitching is my therapy so it's all I've been doing lately! :)

ReplyDeleteI finished binding a charity quilt last night. I'm one of those folks who really enjoy sewing that binding down. It just makes me happy. Today I'll be joining in on the hand stitching by working on some needle turn applique for my Roseville Album quilt.

ReplyDeleteI finished sewing the binding on my H2H quilt for Sarah at 'Confessions of a Fabric Addict' earlier this week. Now all I have to do is figure out how to load the photo to Instagram so I can add it to the linky for H2H finishes. No hand sewing for me today, but I will be at the machine working on RSC projects and a quilt from a class I took yesterday. Cloudy and cool outside so the gardening will have to wait.
