Since it is spring, and since the Rainbow Scrap Challenge colour of the month is yellow, some yellow sprout blocks had to be made! We are a long way from seeing any real life sprouts, but at least the snow has finally melted. It was fun to work on these colourful sunshiny blocks.
Here are all the sprout blocks I've made for my fabric garden so far. If you want to see the free block pattern, click here. To see more Rainbow Scrap Challenge projects, hop over to the link up here.
I really love this pattern--so neat for precut 2.5" squares...i may just have to add this to my list--(i don't even know how long it it by now!!) thanks for the linky...your flowers are beautiful--i wish our daffs would open up--it is still too cold here--a bit warmer, but not much and we are totally fogbound--ugh hugs, Julierose
Have you decided on what will top your sprout blocks? I've admired them here and elsewhere, but I have too many other block projects in progress to start another. Hold on, spring is coming. I'm just south of Rochester NY and the daffs and forsythia are in bloom and the trees and shrubs are greening up. I'm just going to ignore the snow flurries in the forecast for tomorrow. Pat
That's going to be such a fun quilt when you get ready to assemble all those blocks into a flimsy.
