The 4th block will be posted for the new Blockhead sampler quilt today. Last week was a quick and easy variation of the ohio star block called 'Four X' and posted over at Jo Morton's blog. I am enjoying using up the reproduction fabric scraps that are left over from my Votes For Women quilt (which I hope to finish this week!!)
Here are the first 3 blocks for my sampler quilt.
Buzz on over to block #4
...it's an appliqued bee skep!
Good job getting all caught up. Maybe, since block number 4 isn't pieced (so I won't be making it), I may actually feel like I can make the other three blocks this week and get myself caught up. Haven't.Even.Started.
ReplyDeleteYou are too good! I got the first one done... but am not allowing myself to do any more until I get GC quilted.... which is still waiting to be pinned(something about hand quilting all afternoon Sunday...) ! Yikes... well, I do have a couple more days this month =) Guess I'll be clearing off the sewing table to roll it onto boards this afternoon for pinning. Maybe I can quilt it tonight..... no one needs to eat dinner, right?
ReplyDeleteYour blocks look fabulous, Kathy! This is going to be such a pretty sampler!
ReplyDeleteas usual have got behind with this never mind hope to cut the blocks out today
ReplyDeleteYour blocks look great! I would love to join in but I am determined to finish up some of the quilts-in-waiting that are languishing in my sewing room.
ReplyDeleteA very fun set of blocks.
