First UFO for 2017

My first UFO goal for the year is the same as my goal for the November and December of last year. UGH. I just can't give up on it now because I am making some progress, just not fast enough to finish within a month. Or two. Or three.
This is the most recent photo of machine quilting panel #2 on my Votes For Women quilt. Each panel has 14 blocks. I stitch around each block in the ditch with my walking foot, and then put the free motion foot on and quilt each one with a different design. I'm almost finished quilting half of the blocks on this panel.
Could this be the month that it becomes a finished quilt? I hope so!

  1. With long-term projects, you just have to keep hoping they will be done... EVENTUALLY!!! Keep plugging away at it.

  3. Good to repeat the Goal. I had to dig deep into my 2013 UFO to choose my UFO for January. Making Blocks is so easy for me. It's the sashing and quilting that hold me up.

  4. Your colors are fantastic. Are you doing the next one with Barbara too. I have some fat eighths I am going to use for it.

  5. I love making the tops to quilts, and binding them... One day I will learn to do that middle step instead of sending the off. http://quiltlovefordomesticfelicity.blogspot.com/

  12. Just work on it a bit at a time, then switch to something else, to give yourself some rest. It will get done.

  16. The important thing is you are making progress, and it will be a beauty when finished.
