The Circa quilt is still on the radar. The HST border is being constructed this week. I decided I liked the light side of the blocks facing toward the centre of the quilt and have sewn the blocks together in four border strips to go around the quilt. I just have to figure out how the corners will be and be brave in sewing the borders onto the quilt. The last border added will be black.
Maybe it will be done by next Friday?!?
Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGreat hst border! What are you thinking of for the corners?
ReplyDeleteLooks fabulous!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilt Kathy! Try putting a square in the corners of the dark? That might work? I always struggle with the corners of a saw tooth border because one side always looks 'funny' or 'unsymmetrical'. Or how about red/pink squares? So fun to play with different options. I'm itching to come over and throw things at it LOL. Great to be almost finished with that one!! Jacqui

ReplyDeleteIt is a beaut! I think the corners look good the way you have them now. That is the charm of HST borders. : )
