I must start off today saying I am quite proud of myself!
I have my 2015 Quiltville mystery blocks sewn into a quilt top! And all the lines in the setting triangle fabric are going in the right direction!
Woohoo!
It measures 73" x 85" at this point and I don't know if I want to add another border or two. But for now, I am just admiring it!
This means I am ready to start the next Quiltville mystery called "En Provence". I have my fabric selection well underway and will be ready when the first step comes out at the end of the month.

Wow! Looks great! Christine and I have decided to do this year's mystery too.
ReplyDeleteIt looks absolutely gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteLovely. Mine is in a bag, almost a flimsy. Maybe I will tackle it later today...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I'm racing to finish mine before 2016 kicks off, too - just have the borders to add. I'm still trying to decide colors for this year. So exciting!
ReplyDeleteThat looks fantastic! Great job on all those points!
ReplyDeleteGreat job Kathy! I'm laughing here as I love those "you HAVE to finish xxx project or you can't start the next one" kind of deadlines...they really make me move LOL. Glad you got it finished. I'm pushing on a couple of quilts too as I'm eyeing a red and white Canada 150th project that looks very appealing :-).
ReplyDeleteWonderful mystery finish!
ReplyDeletethe top looks great!! good luck on the next one
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I'm ready too. Happy that mine is quilted and on my bed. Here's to En Provence.
ReplyDeleteWooHoo!! It's looks fabulous. I'm so excited for the first clue of the new mystery. :)
ReplyDeleteA lovely mystery completed. I think I would only add a border if its final destination requires it to be bigger. If not, I would just bind it in the red or gold and call it a finish (once it has been quilted, of course)! : )
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful. I'm in the process of quilting mine now - trying desperately to finish it before En Provence starts.
ReplyDeleteLooks great! Mine is still a pile of blocks.
ReplyDeleteI am proud of you too!! Great quilt, don't you think??
ReplyDeleteWoohoo! Congratulations! Don't you love this one??!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks great!! Love it!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats!
ReplyDeleteWoo hoo! Well done. :D
ReplyDeleteWell, look at that! It turned out so lovely. I'm pleased you were able to finish this one before starting the new one. Fun sewing ahead.
ReplyDeleteLove your flimsy finish! Bonnie's projects are so great and I love to see what people choose as fabrics, etc. You are so well-disciplined to get this one done before starting the next one, LOL!
ReplyDeleteGood job getting your flimsy finished - it looks wonderful! I did keep the instructions so I just may find myself making it at some point.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on getting Allietare to the finished flimsy stage. Your colors worked really well, it's lovely!
