Will you be wearing green today to celebrate with our Irish friends?
Do you plan to enjoy an Irish Potato or two? I am not a big fan of coconut, but people who are claim that these are delicious.
I made this mini quilt a couple of years ago and this week it is hanging on our front door.
Happy St. Patrick's Day!
I'm celebrating by throwing a corned beef in the crock pot. My hubby hates cabbage, so I'm not sure yet what we will have with it--lol! I've never seen seen the potato cookies--they are too funny!
ReplyDeleteMay you always have fabric, may your bobbins always be full and may you always have enough time to sew the two together!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy St Patrick's Day!!!
Never have heard of the candy. Not sure I like the sound of it, even though I do love coconut.
ReplyDeleteI remember that little quilt. Love it, and planned to make one myself (still never have).
We usually watch "The Quiet Man" and have potato soup, soda bread, ginger ale and shortbread for dinner. Haven't yet found an acceptable gluten free soda bread recipe to sub this year, and I am thinking of attempting my first gluten free shortbread today. I am prepared to be disappointed.
I had to look up the irish potatoes on the internet as I hadn't come across them here in the UK. I think I'll stick with the really thing rather than the candy. I love your mini shamrock quilt.
ReplyDeleteWe had Irish Soda Bread at Quilt Group today. Happy St. Paddy's Day!!
ReplyDeleteHappy St. Patrick's Day a bit late.
