It was an easy step last week for the Circa 2016 mystery quilt makers.
One block.
Done.
I haven't mentioned recently how much I like this BlocLoc ruler. It was fairly expensive to purchase, but I use it quite often for trimming HST's, so it was well worth the money. It's easy to use and very accurate. I have no affiliation to the company and do not receive any benefit for promoting the ruler... just wanted you to know about a product that I like and use all the time.
Now I am hopping over to Temecula to see the next step.
I have heard a few friends like that ruler. I tried to get one at a show but the were all sold out... Your block looks great
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of that ruler but now after watching the video on their website I'll watch out for it

ReplyDeletelittle pieces make a very nice quilt
ReplyDeleteVery cute progress! I love my Bloc-Loc too--the very fine lines are awesome!
ReplyDeleteI use that BlocLoc, too...love it! Cute little block you made!
ReplyDeleteI've seen the Block Loc rulers but I like my Tucker Trimmer. It works for more than one sized HST. I am copying your light background idea. Gotta go make my Circa 2016 blocks for this week and last week still. Been busy with "Betsy" and getting Class samples ready to quilt.
ReplyDeleteLove the background fabric you chose for your Circa 2016. I like the BlocLoc rulers, also.
ReplyDeleteI love my blocklok, too. I loaned mine to a new quilter (from my quilting classes last Spring) so she can make HST's without worrying if they are too small.
ReplyDeleteI have worn the lines off of my smallest bloc-loc ruler, so now I can only use it if I am making 1 1/2" unfinished HSTs. : )
ReplyDeleteWonder how big the Temecula design quilt will be in the end. I am not making it but am saving the directions.
